Preschool Program

  • Preschool Program at Sweet Love Childcare Centre

At Sweet Love Childcare Centre, we understand the importance of providing high-quality care and education for young children.

Our Preschool Program is designed to prepare children aged 30 months to 6 years by providing a safe, nurturing environment that promotes learning through play.

  • Experienced Educator's

Our program is led by experienced RECE educators who are passionate about early childhood education. They work together to create a curriculum that supports each child’s unique needs and interests while providing opportunities for social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

We believe that every child is unique, and our program is designed to celebrate and support their individuality. Our spacious classrooms are designed to encourage exploration and discovery through a range of developmentally appropriate materials, equipment, and furniture.

  • Individualized Learning

We believe that children learn best when they are actively engaged in activities that are meaningful to them. Our educators facilitate learning through play by setting up a variety of play-based and emergent curriculum.

  • Learning Through Play

Through our emergent curriculum approach, we encourage children to take an active role in their learning. Our educators observe and listen to children to identify their interests, strengths, and needs. Based on these observations, they design learning experiences that are tailored to each child, ensuring that they are engaged and motivated to learn. This approach allows us to provide a learning environment that is responsive to the unique needs and interests of each child, promoting a love of learning and helping children develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.

  • Social Development

Our Preschool Program also emphasizes the importance of social and emotional development. We believe that building positive relationships with peers and adults is essential for children's emotional well-being and future success. Our educators work with children to develop social skills, such as sharing, taking turns, and problem-solving, through play and positive reinforcement.

  • Self-confidence

We also believe in promoting children's independence and self-confidence. We provide opportunities for children to make choices, solve problems, and take risks in a safe and supportive environment. Our educators encourage children to take on challenges and celebrate their successes, both big and small.

  • Childrens Development

In addition to our play-based curriculum, we also offer a range of enrichment activities to support children's development. Our music lessons are taught by highly qualified music instructors who specialize in teaching young children. These lessons help children develop a love of music and provide a strong foundation for future music education.

  • Opportunities for Physical Activity

We also offer opportunities for physical activity through outdoor play and indoor movement activities. Our outdoor play area is designed to provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to explore and play. Indoors, we offer structured movement activities to help children develop their gross motor skills.

  • We understand that parents are an essential part of their children's learning and development. Our centre will be using the HiMama App.  Our Educators will send several pictures directly to each parent enabling them to see all of the fun and educational activities your child takes part in daily.
  • Preparing for Kindergarten

Our main goal is to prepare children socially and academically for childcare. We offer a block area that fosters the development of mathematical concepts such as shapes, balance, and spatial relationships. Through our science curriculum, children learn about the scientific method through guided intuitive curiosity. In our art program, children are encouraged to embrace the creative process of art-making, while our robust library provides them with plenty of opportunities to read and learn.

  • Overall Development

Through daily participation in our program, children develop critical socio-emotional skills, form friendships, and develop a sense of belonging to a larger local and global community. Our aim is to foster an overall respect and appreciation for the arts that will stay with them for a lifetime.
